Pinchbeck Elementary School Library

This year our school has been selected to participate in the Redskins Read Program.  We are excited to be a part of the team and to watch our "reading champions" grow.

WHO: 4th and 5th grade students

What: Students will complete entries in their Redskins Read Playbook.

 

Where: Classrooms and the library

 

WHen: September-March

 

why: To help foster a love of reading in our students and it doesn't hurt that we can win awesome prizes.  One lucky school will win a Redskins Reading Rally hosted at their school.

 

How:The Playbook is designed to provide students with monthly prompts that will encourage them to critically analyze a book(s) of their choice. Each prompt will focus on a different area of the story (e.g. characters, setting, plot, etc.). All necessary materials, including the Playbook, will be provided.
